THE CAMPGROUND

Chittenden Brook Campground is a primitive, first-come, first-served campground managed by the U.S. Forest Service. With only a handful of tent and small RV-friendly sites, it provides a peaceful, low-impact camping experience ideal for those who value simplicity and natural surroundings.

Campground features include:

  • 17 tent/RV sites (up to 20 feet)
  • Picnic tables and fire rings at each site
  • Vault toilets
  • Drinking water (hand-pump)
  • Bear-proof food storage lockers
  • Pet-friendly (leash required)

There are no hookups, showers, or dump stations — just you, the forest, and a well-maintained campground perfect for low-impact camping.
