THE PARK

Brighton State Park features tent/RV campsites, lean-tos, and rental cabins, most of which are nestled in the woods near Spectacle Pond, a peaceful body of water perfect for kayaking, canoeing, and swimming. The campground includes restrooms, hot showers, a dump station, and a beach area with a picnic zone.

While Spectacle Pond offers a quiet and protected paddling experience, nearby Island Pond—just a short drive away—offers additional opportunities for boating and fishing. Visitors can also explore several local trails for hiking, wildlife watching, and photography.

HOURS OF OPERATION

Brighton State Park is open seasonally, typically from late spring through early fall. It’s especially popular in the summer and early autumn, when the foliage begins to turn and the lakes are still warm.
