THE CAMPGROUND

Townshend State Park Campground is an intimate and shaded campground offering a classic Vermont camping experience. Ideal for tent campers and small rigs, the campground features well-spaced sites under a forest canopy, just a short walk from the West River.

Campground features include:

• 18 tent/RV sites and 2 lean-tos
• Fire rings and picnic tables at each site
• Clean restrooms with hot showers
• Potable water and recycling stations
• Pet-friendly campground
• Located within Townshend State Forest, with direct access to hiking trails
